[UPDATE] Thank you for interest and visiting our P^3MA page, due to logistics challenges, we will not be hosting P^3MA with ISC this year 2020.
However, please stay tuned for further updates as we are exploring other conferences / symposia to co-host with for 2020.

4th International Workshop on Performance Portable Programming models for Manycore or Accelerators (P^3MA)
(co-located with  ISC 2019)

Frankfurt, Germany
Thursday, June 20th, 2019

Performance portable approaches and implementations are becoming increasingly crucial for the application developers to make the best use of modern HPC architectures. With diverging architectural designs, it can be a challenge to develop high-level abstractions that can expose all the rich features of the hardware to the programmer, especially with the introduction of heterogeneous architectures.

This workshop will provide a forum to bring together researchers and developers to examine heterogeneous computing, including an invited opening keynote address and a closing Q&A panel with all presenters, this workshop will provide perspectives from current research and a chance for attendees to actively participate in this quickly changing and growing area of HPC research.

Keynote speaker:

  1. Prof. Mitsuhisa Sato, Leader of Programming Environment Research Team, RIKEN, Japan
Title: Challenges for Unified Parallel Programming Models for Accelerated Clusters
  2. Prof. Simon McIntosh-Smith, Professor, University of Bristol
Title: Performance Portability across diverse computer architectures
